By using The Crown Can Bite Me (the “Site”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site. Keep it civil, keep it legal, and argue in good faith.
The Site is an independent political-commentary and civic-data project. It publishes editorial content, aggregates publicly available government and market data, and offers free tools (such as the Codex encryptor and an anonymous discussion forum). Content is provided for information and commentary, not as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.
The Site is intended for users 13 and older and for a general adult audience. By using it you confirm you meet that requirement.
When you post to the forum, leave a rating, or otherwise contribute, you agree not to:
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content on the Site as part of operating it. You’re responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it. Forum contributions are public by design — don’t post anything you need to keep private.
We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion — particularly anything that violates Section 3 — without notice. We are not obligated to host or preserve any contribution.
Original editorial content, graphics, and design on the Site are ours or used with permission. Underlying data is drawn from public sources. You may quote and link to the Site with attribution; you may not republish it wholesale or present it as your own.
The Site links out to third-party sites and operates official accounts on platforms such as Facebook and X/Twitter. We don’t control those platforms and aren’t responsible for their content or policies. Your use of them is governed by their terms.
The Site and its data and tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the Site will be accurate, complete, current, or available without interruption. Verify anything you intend to rely on.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
